Universidade Catolica Portuguesa (Portugal)

Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) was created in 1967 by Decree of the Holy See and was officially recognized by the Portuguese State in 1971. We are a nationwide University present in four major cities, Porto, Lisbon, Braga, and Viseu. Our commitment to excellence in teaching and research, social responsibility, and respect for the diversity of our common world, has granted us top positions in many fields of study and the respect of our partners and the Portuguese society in general.

UCP aims to be a front-runner in terms of innovation, promoting cutting-edge research, high quality education and international drive. We cultivate the international vocation that sustains the humanist tradition of higher education development and knowledge promotion. Our vision is to be a leader in global education and in the production of science for the common good. The UCP team working in LET’S CARE includes researchers from the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH), from the Faculty of Education and Psychology.
